What is Immersion Club?

I created this space so you can experience real interaction with me and one of my Mexican friends. The goal is to practice your Spanish in a relaxed, real-life environment — not in a lesson format.

We play fun games to encourage natural interaction and have a good time together. Language corrections and suggestions are provided, but only when needed, so your flow isn't interrupted.

How it works?

* Small group. 2 -4 members per session.

* Flexible and regular. Meetings take place every 2 weeks, alternating between Friday and Saturday.

* Intermediate and advanced students. Beginners are welcome for an intensive experience, but the session is 100% in Spanish.

* Group choice. The game is selected through a short survey sent to attendees 2 days before the session.

* Online. We meet on Zoom.

* Payment. A PayPal invoice will be sent 1 day before the meeting, once the minimum number of attendees is confirmed. Payments are final and cancellations are not available at that point.

How it works

Who is this for?

This is for learners who are ready for a more real, everyday Spanish experience — not a class.

We’ll talk, make jokes, and enjoy a natural, relaxed atmosphere.

You’ll still get helpful corrections and suggestions during the session.

👉🏼 Intermediate and advanced students will benefit the most from these sessions.

What are this games about?

48 hours before each meetup, you’ll receive a short poll so we can decide which game we’ll play.

👉🏼 All of these games encourage conversation, vocabulary growth, and natural expression.

Basta (Scattegories):
We write words in different categories using a random letter.

Maratón (Trivial Pursuit–style):
We answer general-knowledge questions from different subjects.

GeoGuessr:
We look at a street view and try to guess the city or country based on the details we see.

Table Topics:
We pick a card and answer a personal or thought-provoking question to keep the conversation flowing.

What do I need to play?

Even though some of these games are normally played on a physical board, you only need your computer:

👉🏼 Preferably not a phone, since typing is easier, a good internet connection, and a quiet environment, as all microphones will stay open during the meetup.
